I am writing to show my support of Republican John Camardo for city council and his past proven record of leadership. As the citizens and taxpayers of Auburn have felt the wrath of the current administration trying to deceitfully agree with Verizon and put cell phone towers up in our backyards. Unfortunately, our east end neighbors lost their battle due to the poor city leadership. I want the community to know that John Carmardo, never having a blind eye or deaf ears when the citizens raised concern for the project, came to the repeated and long battles with the city and spoke at one, of which I can say helped the west end community win their lawsuit with the city and AIDA.

He was the only city official running in this election who fought for the west end community and taxpayers. The other opponents running never came to one meeting, and as a matter of fact, one even told us that if we wanted to know something we had to find the information for ourselves streaming them online. I have no allegiance to any party. I vote for the person who best represents my beliefs, no matter their political affiliation. The signs in my front lawn are proof. I am also a strong supporter of Elane Daly for county legislator, who has so strongly fought for neighbors with special needs. She is a Democrat. That's what is great about our country, you can vote for who YOU want to represent you in your government. The days of ole' are gone! Vote for who you want to represent you, not just for those who are in your party affiliation!
