It’s been said that “All politics is local.” No more so than here in Auburn. If you need to question the state of our city look around at the the newly bustling downtown to know that Auburn is on the right path. But current political climate teaches us that tides can change on a single election.
I am writing today to encourage all women voters to remember we need to have our voices heard. In 2017 women still remain a minority voice in our government. Our current city government is 40 percent women, which is above the national average, but still below our percentage of the population.
Debby McCormick has been an intelligent, competent and effective representative for women and all Auburnians. Remember on Nov. 7 that we need to be represented and Debby has been an advocate and voice for change for the past four years. Let’s re-elect Debby and let her continue the good works that have started
