I spotted the following on Facebook Tuesday evening:

"I would say it was un-American, and they don't love our country," Tenney told CNN when asked about the behavior of Democrats at the State of the Union address.

Since CNN is a reliable reporter, I assume this is a true representation of U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney's comment. She must be reminded that this country was founded by resisters, and that resistance is protected by the First Amendment. The Democrats had every right to protest and to refrain from applause. Indeed, when they did not agree, they had an obligation to do so.

Our current president cares for himself and his friends; the common people mean little to him and it seems that U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney shares this attitude. There are good people on the other side of the aisle and this country is likely to crash if people in government don't start realizing that.
