SYRACUSE | John Lannan did alright, but not great.

Over 6.1 innings of work, the lefty gave up three hits, and three runs and struck out three, but walked four in a 6-4 loss to the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees on Monday at Alliance Bank Stadium.

A three-run double off of Erik Davis in the top of the eighth was countered by a three-run pinch-hit homer by Jim Negrych in the bottom of the ninth.

Brett Carroll went 2-for-3 and scored a run.
