The Auburn girls bowling team beat Baldwinsville 3-0 on Monday.

The Maroons won the first game 788-661, took the second 752-640 and completed the sweep in the third 698-668.

Lily Snyder bowled a 149-178-197, while Kaylee Hodson shot a 237-181-253. Amber Pidlypchak had game scores of 150 and 180, while Madysan Hastings bowled a 145 and a 127.

The Auburn boys team lost to Baldwinsville 3-0 (952-829, 974-875, 898-835).

James Wilkes bowled frames of 169, 190 and 156, while Jarid Wilkes bowled a 158-137-173. TJ O'Donnell shot a 175-223-214, and Ben Morabito finished with a 163-187-143.

VOLLEYBALL

Christian Brothers Academy 3, Port Byron 2: The Panthers won the first set 25-19 and the fourth set 25-9, but dropped the others 27-25, 32-30 and 25-23.

Olivia Martens registered 27 assists, nine digs, three kills and two aces, while Marissa Recckio had five kills, three aces and two digs.

Emily Ryan chipped in six kills, two blocks, two digs, two assists and an ace, Jessica Suslik had eight digs, and Nadia Edley added 11 kills, two blocks and three aces. Alli Ryan recorded 13 digs and nine kills, and Abby Vincent finished with five kills, a block, an ace and an assist.

Port Byron hosts Cato-Meridian Friday.

Chittenango 3, Cato-Meridian 0: The Blue Devils were swept 25-8, 25-6, 25-9.

Cato-Meridian's Breanna Lee had 11 digs and one kill, while Meghan McCarthy added ninie digs and one assist. Bridget Kipp had three blocks and a pair of digs, and Allyson Dennis finished with six digs, a kill and a block.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Tully 58, Port Byron 36: Jordyn Baker led the Panthers with 12 points. Shelby Weatherwax added seven points and Ava Mills contributed six points and eight rebounds. Amanda Chuttey added seven rebounds.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

North Country 85, Cayuga 54: Two Spartans recorded double-doubles, but the Saints pulled away in the fourth quarter.

Dontasia Britt tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Loren Clifford added 11 points and 11 rebounds. Port Byron grad Erica Helzer finished with eight points.

Cayuga (4-4) hosts Mohawk Valley on Saturday.

WRESTLING

APW Rebel Dual Meet Tournament: Skaneateles went 2-3 at the tournament.

The Lakers' dual against the Blue Devils came down to the final match, as TJ Greenfield got six points for a pin and Skaneateles edged Moravia 40-39.

Skaneateles beat Oswego 48-36. Preston Blake and Yorvin Solis each trailed by five points but pulled out a win via a pin.

Skaneateles, who graduated seven seniors off last year's squad, gave up five forfeits in a 48-39 loss to Jordan-Elbridge, and Canton beat the Lakers 60-30. Skaneateles also gave up 36 points in forfeits in a 46-33 loss to APW.

Bo Arold went 5-0 on the day and received the trophy for Most Outstanding Wrestler. Joey Brillo and Christian Daley were also 5-0, while Joey Winkler went 4-1 on the day.

Skaneateles hosts Mexico on Wednesday.

Andersen Memorial Tournament: Auburn had three wrestlers place third.

Luca Pirozzolo earned a major decision, 15-3, to take third place in the 113 pound weight class. Keyshin Cooper (170) topped his opponent 3-2 in the third place match, while Mike Hamilton (220) won his match 11-5 to place third.
