The Auburn Ice Hawks Generation Bank Squirts defeated Oswego 6-2 on Saturday and then topped Ithaca 4-0 on Sunday.

Against Oswego, Tyler Calkins had two goals and two assists, Judah Young recorded two goals and an assist, and TJ Pisciotti and Kyleen Brady finished with a goal apiece.

Aiden Baum picked up the shutout in goal against Ithaca, with Young, Pisciotti, Brady and Max Laraway serving as the goal scorers. Matthew Hoey and Calkins nabbed assists.

Pee Wees

The Auburn Boyle and Anderson travel team finished third at the Liberty Cup Winter Classic in Philadelphia over the weekend.

Auburn tied the PAL Jr. Islanders 0-0 on Friday with Mason Jones earning the shutout. In the first of its two games Saturday, Auburn lost to Brick Hockey Club (New Jersey) 5-2. Elise Clifford and Jack Pineau were the scorers. Owen Kime and Evan Moore were credited with assists.

Auburn bounced back Saturday evening, topping the New Jersey Avalanche 7-2. Nico Tardibone and Ryan Huber both scored a pair of goals, while Aiden Tomandl, Clifford and Kime rounded out the scoring. Tardibone had two assists, with Pineau and Clifford picking up one assist each.

In the final game of the tournament, Auburn slipped past the North Carolina Jr. Hurricanes 2-1. Joey Lott and Pineau were the goal scorers.

Auburn Cayuga Lake National Bank 5, Lysander 3: Owen Birchard led Auburn offensively with two goals and one assist. Keegan Brady finished with a goal and two assists, and Rylee Catalfano and Brady Cochrane also scored. Finley Hogan and Jack Burns were credited with assists. Paige Smith made 24 saves in net to pick up the victory.

Bantams

Auburn Simmonds, Brady and Loi travel split a pair of games. The Ice Hawks topped Cortland 6-3 on Saturday, with Christian Bouley and Jack Chapman both potting two goals. Matt Donovan and Ethan Moore also scored, with Chapman, Bouley and Mitchell White all finishing with one assist. Lucas Hooker made 19 saves.

Sunday, Auburn fell to the CNY Outlaws 4-3. Chapman scored twice with White notching the other goal. Bouley had one assist and Jackson Siddall stopped 14 shots.

5th Grade Boys

WHMB PC 24, The Center for Living Well 22: In a losing effort, Italo Cole had 13 points for The Center for Living Well.

Southern Cayuga 36, Ron Case Construction 15: Southern Cayuga was led by Isaac Brozon with 14 points and Kyler Colten with 10.

Owen Jeffers led Ron Case Construction with four points.

6th Grade Boys

Southern Cayuga 33, Auburn #2 Coast Physical Therapy 27: Daniel Davis led Southern Cayuga with 14 points and 20 rebounds.

Ron Dennis Stamped Concrete 27, 5 Star Bank 17: Lucio Cole led the victors with 16 points.

Do it for Dave 36, Lyons National Bank 20: Aiden Littebrant scored eight points to lead Lyons National Bank in their loss.

6th Grade Girls

DB’s Drive-In 24, Cato 10: In the first game of the season, Mia Ada led DB's Drive-In with 14 points.

7th/8th Grade Girls

Weedsport 52 Basketball, Southern Cayuga 21: Weedsport was led by Mariah Quigley with 16 points while Savanna Murray had nine points and Rachael Sheets had eight points.
