UNION SPRINGS-SPRINGPORT LWRP COMMUNITY KICK-OFF MEETING County of Cayuga PUBLIC NOTICE Public Notice is hereby given that the Cayuga County Department of Planning & Economic Development will host a Community Kick-Off meeting for the Union Springs-Springport Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) on Friday June 17, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Union Springs High School Cafeteria. Cayuga County, on behalf of the Village of Union Springs and the Town of Springport, recently received a grant from the NYS Department of State under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund to prepare a Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) for the Village and Town. The focus of this project will be to develop an actionable program to guide future development along the Cayuga Lake waterfront and in Downtown Union Springs. The project area includes properties between the Cayuga Lake lakeshore and State Route 90 from the northern town-line to the southern town-line. All residents, property owners, and business owners in the project area along with any other interested community members are strongly encouraged to attend this informational meeting.
