Deanna Lynn Bona and Jacob Taro were married April 28, 2018, in First Presbyterian Church in Auburn by the Revs. Banu and James Moore.

The bride's parents are James Sr. and Elaine Bona, of Auburn. The groom's parents are Cindy Carpenter and David Taro, of Auburn.

The matron of honor was Christina Caruana, sister of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Maddie Bona, niece of the bride, and Sydnie Miller. Bridesmaids were Christine Bona, sister-in-law of the bride, Kendra Taro, sister-in-law of the groom, Renee Ward, Elena Madden, Chelsea Smith, Cassie Mattes, Erin Scire and Michelle Miller. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The best man was Will Miller. Junior ushers were Carson Bona, nephew of the bride, and Camden Taro, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Jimmy and Michael Bona, brothers of the bride, Toby Taro, brother of the groom, Luigi Carauana, brother-in-law of the bride, Joel Campagnola, Doug Ward, Chris Brown and Pete Kortwright.

The flower girl was Paisley Taro, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Giovanni Caruana, nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at Highland Park Golf Club in Sennett. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Case Mansion in Auburn.

The bride is employed by the U.S. Postal Service. She graduated from Union Springs High School in 2006, and Cayuga Community College in 2008.

The groom is employed by Bartolotta Finish Carpentry. He graduated from Victor High School in 2001.

A summer honeymoon is planned.
