Christine May MacDavitt and James Soo Lee were married at 3 p.m. March 25, 2017, at Willard Chapel in Auburn by the Rev. Renee-Noelle Felice, of Syracuse.
The bride is the daughter of William and Suzanne MacDavitt, of Auburn. The groom is the son of Young and Jung Lee, of Hickory, North Carolina.
The maid of honor was Liz MacDavitt, sister of the bride, and the matron of honor was Kelly Palmer, friend of the bride. The bride was given in marriage by her father, William MacDavitt.
The best men were Tommy Lee, brother of the groom, and James Kim, friend of the groom.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Lasca's Restaurant in Auburn. A reception was held at the Ukrainian National Club in Auburn.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Cato-Meridian High School and a 2013 graduate of Cayuga Community College, with an Associate of Applied Science in nursing degree. She is employed at Kindred at Home in Liverpool, New York as a registered nurse case manager.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Takoma Academy in Takoma Park, Maryland; a 2000 graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Bachelor of Arts in economics; a 2008 graduate of University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee with a Master of Arts in philosophy; and expects to receive a Doctor of Philosophy in philosophy at Syracuse University in 2017. He is employed at Syracuse University and Onondaga Community College as a college instructor of philosophy.
The couple took a honeymoon to Kauai, Hawaii.
