Dorothy May Pickard and Alan Wayne Raymond were married on Sept. 2, 2018, at Hoopes Park in Auburn by Richard Leonard.
All of their friends and family knew that their wedding plans were to be married in the Bahamas and have a reception when they returned. So it would be an understatement to say that the guests were surprised when the bride showed up late to their own Labor Day picnic in a limo, and wearing a wedding dress! Many of the guests piled into the limo, and the rest followed close behind. Shortly after, they were married in the park while all of their friends and family looked on, still soaking up the excitement of the change of events. A few family and friends who had successfully kept the secret were among the wedding party: Sarah Mosher (maid of honor), Chelsea Heath (bridesmaid), Nelson Spears (best man), John and Chase Alnutt (groomsmen), Ethan Mosher (groomsman), Connor Mosher (ring bearer) and Bailey Alnutt (flower girl).
