Amanda Lynn Turner and Brian Paul Jessie were married at 4:30 p.m. January 21, 2017, at Welch Allyn Lodge in Skaneateles by Officiant Ben Hoatland.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Jennifer Turner, of Moravia, and the granddaughter of Gloria Turosz and the late Matthew Turosz, of Auburn.

The groom is the son of Leon and Cindy Jessie, of Auburn, and the grandson of Marion Jessie and the late Herman Jessie, of Auburn.

Maid of honor was Alicia Coppola, friend of both the bride and groom. Bridesmaids were Heidi Grinnell, Lesley Middleton, and Jessica Mattiace (who escorted the couple’s beloved canine, Guinness.) The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jim Turner.

The best man was Shawn Westover, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Nick Kiesznowski and Todd Jessie, brother of the groom. Ushers were Matthew and Dylan Turner, brothers of the bride.

A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the bride and groom. A reception was held following the ceremony at The Lodge.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Moravia High School, a 2006 graduate of Cayuga Community College, and a 2008 graduate of SUNY Brockport. She is employed as a Emergency Services Dispatcher by Cayuga County 911. She served in the military with the U.S. Army National Guard in Iraq (Operation New Dawn).

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Auburn High School and a graduate of the New York State Academy of Fire Science. He is employed as a Lieutenant by the City of Auburn Fire Department. 

The couple took a honeymoon to Sandals, Montego Bay, Jamaica.
