A view of the New York State Fair midway Tuesday, Aug. 29.

The New York State Fair closed its 2017 run with multiple attendance records and plenty of other historic achievements.

Here is the 2017 New York State Fair, by the numbers:

124,819. The number of attendees at the New York State Fair Monday. That's a new Labor Day record and the single-best day in the fair's history.

13. The number of days the fair lasted in 2017. The expanded schedule gave the fair an additional day to break last year's record, which was set during a 12-day run.

4. The number of daily attendance records set during the 2017 fair. The first came on Sunday, Aug. 27 when 123,206 people attended the fair. That not only set a record for the first Sunday of the fair, it also broke the single-day attendance mark. The previous high was 122,870 on Labor Day 2014.

2. The number of single-day attendance records set during the 2017 fair. The aforementioned Aug. 27 performance stood as the single-day record for eight days. With 124,819 attendees on Labor Day, that's the new single-day high for the fair.

35. The number of food trucks that participated in the two-day Taste NY Food Truck Competition at the fair. (There were 17 on Saturday and 18 on Sunday.)

550. There were more than 550 free musical concerts at the fair this year, a new record. Chevy Court, the concert's marquee stage, hosted 26 of the free shows.

31,900. The estimated crowd for Migos' concert at the fair Sunday. It was the largest crowd for a Chevy Court concert at the fair this year.

420,000-plus. The total cups of white and chocolate milk sold at the Milk Bar as of midday Monday. That's a new record for Milk Bar sales. Cups of milk were sold for 25 cents apiece.

59,946-plus. The total number of white and sweet potatoes sold at the Great Baked Potato Booth in the Horticulture Building as of Sunday. That's a record for sales at the popular baked potato stand. The potatoes were sold for $1 each.

1,000,000. The fair had 1 million total visitors for the second year in a row. The fair hasn't had such a streak since 2001-02, when it attracted more than 1 million visitors each year. The fair didn't reach seven figures again until 2016, when 1,117,630 people passed through the gates.

$120,000,000. The total amount of state investment in the fair once the second phase of projects are completed. The initial $50 million was spent to tear down the Grandstand and race track, expand the midway, build a new main gate, add an RV park, move the state police exhibit and improve the Iroquois Indian Village. (There were other improvements, but those are just the highlights.) The state is planning another $70 million to improve the fairgrounds, including $20 million to support upgrades at the Orange Lot, which provides parking for the fair and Lakeview Amphitheater. A bulk of the $70 million will be used to construct a 133,000-square-foot expo center at the fairgrounds.

1,161,912. The number of people who attended the 2017 New York State Fair, breaking the previous record of 1,117,630 in 2016.
