This week's Photographer's Journal video is titled "Heart of the Community."
Maire Yowan runs the local post office in King Ferry, New York, population 1,062.
The post office is everything you might think a smalltown post office would be. Friendly faces, community chit-chat and of course, letters and packages.
The post office is an integral part of this rural farming community, and Yowman is at the center of it all. She know just about everyone who walks through the door greeting them with her enthusiasm for service as well as an infectious smile that will brighten anyones day.
