From prehistoric women to zombies, a new B-movie series at Auburn Public Theater will feature some of cinema's schlockiest staples.
The series, Screams & Screens: Scary B Movies at the Auburn, begins with "Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women" at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at the theater, 8 Exchange St., Auburn.
The series is curated by Ed Catto, of Auburn, a faculty member at Ithaca College's School of Business who has worked for decades as a comic book artist, including launching his own book, "Captain Action," in 2009.
The series will continue every other week at the theater. Future films include "Horror Express" April 2, "Carnival of Souls" April 16 and "Night of the Living Dead" April 30.
Admission to all films in the series is $2.
