Seymour Library

The books will be breathing Saturday, Nov. 10, at a Human Library event at Seymour Library in Auburn.

Part of the library's civics series, the event will see people represent books like "Female Scientist," "Polyamorous, Asexual: Not Loud, but Proud," "Domestic Violence," "Syrian Visual Artist/Curator" and more. Visitors are encouraged to come and "check out" the books by having 30-minute conversations with them, breaking down stereotypes and having civil conversations.

The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served. The library is located at 176-178 Genesee St., Auburn.
