The annual Empire Farm Days will feature 300 acres of farm equipment, field demonstrations and more from Tuesday, Aug. 7, through Thursday, Aug. 9, at Rodman Lott and Son Farms, 2973 Route 414, Seneca Falls.
This year's event, the 85th, will see it under new management. As the new executive director of Empire State Potato Growers, which organizes the event, Alexandra Grimm replaces Melanie Wickham as the event's manager. Grimm is joined by new Exhibitor Coordinator Jamie Meyer and Site Coordinator Chase Brown, both natives of New York state.
“This new team brings new energy and excitement to Empire Farm Days. They are highly skilled in not only the technical details of running an event of this magnitude, but they are all personally dedicated to being agricultural advocates and ready to provide the highest quality of customer service to exhibitors and visitors alike,” said Wickham, who is retiring, in a news release.
The three-day event features the latest farm equipment and demonstrations of it, as well as test driving, products, exhibits, equine round pen and cattle handling demonstrations with live animals, safety information and more.
Admission is free and open to the public; parking is $10.
