🎃 Halloween family movie

WHAT: After three centuries, three witch sisters are reunited in Salem, Massachusetts, on Halloween night, and it's up to two teenagers, a young girl and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all.

🎃 An Evening with the Spirits

WHAT: A lecture on mediums and the paranormal by Suzanne Updike, with dinner.

WHAT: Costumed guides will lead guests around the museum grounds and historic downtown Auburn, sharing new stories of Victorian funeral practices, spectral encounters from the Seward family, true crime stories and more local folklore.

🎃 Wacky Weekends

WHAT: A five-acre corn maze, Spook Woods, wagon rides and more.

🎃 Halloween at Bass Pro Shops

WHAT/WHEN: Photos and crafts from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26; photos and pumpkins from noon to 5 p.m., trick-or-treating from 3 to 5 p.m. and a costume parade at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27; photos and crafts from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 29 and 30; and photos and crafts from 4 to 8 p.m., trick-or-treating from 5 to 8 p.m. and cookie decorating from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

WHAT: Annual neighborhood haunted house to support local causes

🎃 "Mourning or Macabre? Victorian Death Rites"

WHAT: Director of Collections Matt Mac Vittie will lead a nocturnal tour of the museum by candlelight and explore how the Seward family participated in Victorian death rituals during a time beset by tragedy and loss. The rituals included posing for photographs with the dead and keeping memento moris, physical mementos from the bodies of the deceased.

🎃 "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

WHAT: Screening of the famous midnight movie with full audience participation and costumes encouraged.
