Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity hosted a dedication and blessing ceremony and potluck barbecue Sunday, July 29, at its latest project at 15 Grant St. in Auburn. The afternoon event was attended by 82 guests, including Mayor Mike Quill and City Councilor Dia Carabajal. Partner family Loni and Rodney cut the ribbon and received the keys to their newly renovated home, along with four specially designed quilts. This is the 19th home project for the affiliate. Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity celebrated our most recent home renovation accomplishment at 15 Grant Street, our 20th home build since 1992, on July 29 during The Dedication & Blessing Ceremony & BBQ Pot Luck. Attended by over 80 guests including The Mayor and other dignitaries, the event featured the passing of the key to the partner family; presentation of five quilts; tours of the home; and a picnic.
