Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County is hosting a series of Winter Shop Meetings where agricultural issues will be discussed at area farms:

• 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14: "Beef and Dairy/Beef Crosses: Opportunities for Dairy Farmers" with Cornell beef cattle extension specialist Dr. Mike Baker at Conquest Cattle Feeders, 10765 Cooper St., Cato

• 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 1: "Utilizing Corn Silage Trial Results" with Cornell PRO-DAIRY dairy forage systems specialist Joe Lawrence at Musgrave Research Farm, 1256 Poplar Ridge Road, Aurora

• 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 15: "Managing Diseases Prevalent in 2018 Growing Season" with Jaime Cummings of the Cornell state IPM program Marvin Martin Dairy, 12645 North Road, Cato

All meetings are free and open to the public. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
