New York Chiropractic College is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding throughout 2019.
Among the commemorative events will be the first-ever joint NYCC homecoming and New York State Chiropractic Association Fall Convention, to be held Sept. 20-22 on the college's Seneca Falls campus. The event will feature continuing education opportunities for health care professionals, guest speakers, networking and social events, and more. Topics will include sports medicine, nutrition, primary spine care, acupuncture and integrative health systems.
Also as part of its centennial, the college will offer commemorative bricks for alumni, the current community and friends of the college to sponsor. Bricks will be engraved with the supporter's name and the college centennial log, and installed on campus.
Founded in 1919 by Dr. Frank Dean, the college offers several programs of study on its 286-acre campus at 2360 Route 89, Seneca Falls, including Doctor of Chiropractic, Master of Science in Clinical Anatomy, Master of Science in Sports Nutrition (online) and more.
