Participants rally at the Women March in Seneca Falls in 2017.

Women March in Seneca Falls will hold its third annual march and rally, Redefining Resistance: Women in the Lead, on Saturday, Jan. 19.

The rally will begin at 10 a.m. at the First Amendment space of the Women's Rights National Historical Park, 136 Fall St., Seneca Falls. It will be followed by a march at 11:30 a.m. and a Feminist Music Fest at 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Lane and Fall Street.

Speakers will include Louise Herne (Mama Bear), the Rev. Leah Ntuala, Gwen Webber-McLeod, Sally Roesch Wagner and elected representatives.

The event began two years ago in solidarity with more than 700 similar events around the world. Organizer Melina Carnicelli, of Auburn, said in a news release, “As per-SISTERS we continue to move forward in solidarity with all who support our unity principles: ending systemic racism and sexism; environmental justice; equal pay; eradicating violence against women; gender parity in elected office; LGBTQIA, immigrant and disability rights; passage of the proposed Equal Rights Amendment; and, reproductive rights/self-sovereignty."

Events are free and open to the public.
