The Skaneateles boys lacrosse team capped off the regular season with a win, as Nick Wamp picked up six points on four goals and two assists in a 14-7 win over LaFayette Tuesday.

Pat Hackler (two assists) and Evan Brunelle both scored three times, John Danforth scored twice, and Brendan Powers (two assists) and Grayson Brunelle rounded out the scoring with one goal each.

Skaneateles split time in net, with Luke Renaud making eight saves and Nathan Squires stopping two shots.

The Lakers finish the regular season 13-2 and are currently ranked No. 1 in New York state in Class D.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Auburn 17, Cortland 6: Natalie Calandra-Ryan tallied six goals and one assist to lead the Maroons.

Gabby McGinn added four goals and two assists, Caroline Netti had three goals and one helper and Abbie Izzo scored twice.

Jillian Alberici and Alayna Foos each scored once, Gracie Giannettino had one assist, Lexy Driscoll had four saves and Quinn Brady followed with three saves.

Auburn finishes the season 13-3 and will likely face Central Square in the first round of the Section III, Class B tournament Thursday.

SOFTBALL

Union Springs 19, Southern Cayuga 11: Ellie Brozon and Avery Colton led the Chiefs by going 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run each. Molleigh Johnson (two RBIs, one run), Kylie Rejman (three runs) and Lauren Collier (three runs) all picked up one hit. Daisy Stebbins added one hit and scored two runs.
