Watch Now: Lights on Caravan raises DWI awareness in Onondaga County

  • 0

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office posted this video to its Facebook page Saturday with the following message: "Numerous law enforcement agencies in Onondaga County along with Centro Transportation, emergency service agencies, business owners and concerned citizens participated in the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board’s 38th Annual Donald H. Barrett “Lights On Caravan” this morning. The caravan proceeded through downtown Syracuse, Village of Liverpool, Clay, Lysander, Van Buren and completed at the Baldwinsville Fire Department on Crego Road. The purpose of the annual caravan is to honor and remember victims of drunk and drugged driving, and also to remind all drivers of the dangers of impaired driving at any time, especially during the holiday season. This is a time when friends and families gather to celebrate and we would like to remind everyone to be safe and responsible during the holidays. #HaveAPlan #Drivesoberorgetpulledover"
