Gallery: State Street Plaza opens to the public with music by Nuclear Ukulele in Auburn
The band Nuclear Ukulele performs Wednesday during the opening of the new State Street Plaza in Auburn. The performance kicked off a city concert series that will continue every Wednesday through the month of August. The $1.4 million plaza was funded by money from the city's Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant, a city bond ordinance and the Emerson Foundation. See here for a full schedule of August concerts at the plaza, and more information on its creation and history.
