An Auburn woman was arrested Friday for allegedly stabbing a man in the hand, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Ashley M. Wilson, 27, 56 Grant Ave., Auburn, was charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor.

Police said Wilson, who has an apartment with the non-profit housing and rehabilitation organization Unity House, attacked an employee with the group at approximately 7:45 p.m. Police said the the victim received cuts on his hand and was treated and released from Auburn Community Hospital.
Wison was arraigned Friday night at Auburn City Court and was taken to Cayuga County Jail, where she was being held without bail, police said. Her next court date is Monday.
