A Syracuse man is facing a felony charge for driving while intoxicated in Sennett, according to New York State Police.
Eric B. Rindfleisch, 31, was stopped on Franklin Street Road Tuesday for having obstructed plates, state police said in a news release. He was arrested after failing standard field sobriety tests and taken to the Auburn state police barracks, where a breath test showed a blood alcohol content of .10%.
He was charged with felony driving while intoxicated because he has a previous conviction within 10 years, police said. He was also charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than .08%, operating a motor vehicle without a valid registration, and obstructed plates. He was arraigned in Owasco Town Court.
