Three children died and another was injured in a central New York house fire late Monday, according to the New York State Police.
Oneida County 911 received a call at approximately 11:48 p.m. The caller reported a structure fire at 154 Pine Haven Circle in the city of Rome.
Firefighters and state troopers responded to the call. When first responders arrived at the mobile home, they observed heavy fire conditions.
There were six people, including four children, inside the home at the time of the fire. Three of the children were killed in the blaze. They have been identified as 4-year-old Eliesse Croad, 3-year-old Patrick Croad III and 2-year-old Temprince Croad.
A fourth child, 1-year-old Kaydence Croad, was transported to SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with burns to both of her arms.
The parents of the children were also transported to SUNY Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. According to the state police, Gabrielle Croad, 24, sustained second-degree burns in the fire. Patrick Croad, 25, was sent to the hospital for evaluation.

The Rome Fire Department's Cause and Origin team is assisting with determining the cause of the blaze.
The agencies that assisted at the scene included the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, New London Fire Department, Vienna Fire Department, Oneida County Mobile Crisis Assessment Team and the Oneida County Medical Examiner's Office.
