TENNESSEE — It is with great sorrow that we share with you the death of Michael Anthony Sheets. Mike passed away on the morning of May 2, 2019.
Michael served as a U.S. Marine and went on to marry and have two boys with his wife, Connie. Michael returned to Cayuga Community College where he earned his associate’s degree in Applied Science in criminal justice – corrections.
Michael dedicated his life to provide for his wife and children. Recently moving to Tennessee, Michael’s passions were fishing, going to the Smoky Mountains, and he loved working as a baker at Cameron’s Bakery in Auburn. Mike loved to relax, fall asleep at concerts and sporting events with his kids and sip on his favorite Tennessee moonshine.
Michael Sheets is survived by his wife, Connie; his two sons, Michael and his fiancée, Amber, and Anthony and his wife, Morgan; his grandchildren, Landen, Breyden, Anthony Jr., Sophia, and soon to arrive baby, Charlotte; Connie’s grandmother, Lorraine Moore; sisters-in-law, Tracy Moore-McConnell, and Tesha Crawford; brother-in-law, Jimmy; mother-in-law, Kathy (Alice) Moore; Mikey and AJ’s aunt, Eva and her son, Jason Sheets; many other nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at CC’s on the Green in Elbridge, N.Y., where there will be food and raffles.
