Auburn and this great community are a place to live, raise a family, and be involved in the community. I have only been associated with the Cayuga County area since October of 2018, and now on a full-time basis. I have been welcomed into this area by community leaders and companies. I feel like I have lived here for years.
The Citizen and the readers are forming a partnership and we are in this together. We are committed to make Auburn and the surrounding area the best they can be.
This week a local baseball player made it to the major league, we have our own minor league baseball team, and we are in the heart of northern Finger Lakes region.
The Citizen is driven to sharing stories with our Cayuga County community. In the last month we had two reporters win big awards. Kevin Rivoli was one of five winners in an international contest run via Instagram by Lens Magazine, and Robert Harding was named winner of the Bill Carey Journalist of Year award from the Syracuse Press Club.
The Citizen’s commitment to sharing these stories to the community is unparalleled. That’s why we are rolling out a new subscription model on April 16 called News+.
News+ is built around the idea that our readers aren’t just subscribers. They are members. And while we have convenient options to help you get your news when and how you want it, membership also brings new content, new features, and special benefits.
You can learn more about each level and its benefits online at auburnpub.com/members.
Strong newspapers — and their websites — contribute to strong communities. Local news sheds light on the things we can do better and gives voice to the very best things about Auburn, Cayuga County and the surrounding area. That’s why we need members – not just subscribers.
A membership does have its privileges, and one of them is the knowledge that The Citizen and the community are stronger when we stand together.
