The Mueller Report is nearly 450 pages and covers subjects ranging from questions about Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election to whether President Donald Trump obstructed justice. The full and abridged reports are easy to find online.
Although most Americans might be able to read Robert Mueller's Report, understanding it would literally be impossible for at least 90% of us because it's written by attorneys!
It wasn't the testimony given by Mueller that made me sit up and take notice, it was instead his stark warnings about “Russia's elaborate and targeted attack on the 2016 presidential election!” He confirmed that “Trump was elected with Russia's help.” His report also cataloged the president's frantic efforts to undermine the investigation into Moscow's election interference. Mueller also inferred how future efforts by them will happen.” And, that should alarm everyone who cares about this country!
Unfortunately it was the Republicans in those hearings who systematically treated Mr. Mueller as a hostile witness. Their disrespect toward him was disheartening. Their conduct was disturbing since Director Mueller has spent his entire life in service to this country, including military service as an officer in the Vietnam War. He won two Navy Commendation Medals, the Purple Heart and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. His exemplary courage and bravery earned him the Bronze Star Medal and Combat “V” for heroism, saving the life of another soldier.
When he became the sixth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation – appointed by the then President George W. Bush – it was President Barack Obama who was “so impressed by his good work” that a two-year extension to his original ten-year service period was offered to Robert Mueller.
Director Mueller has earned the respect by most Americans. He exemplifies what is a true patriot and he should be listened to. We really need to respect what he's telling the American people. And, although not detailed in his report, he was adamant about “our government taking sufficient steps to prevent such an assault from Russian – or any country – from occurring again!”
