My letter is for Chad Dominic and the state Office for People with Disabilities ("Women say New York agency let sex harassment go on for years," March 2). I cannot believe your behavior. Shame on the supervisors. This has gone on for three years and all you got was a slap on the hand. The supervisors didn’t do their jobs, they should be punished for this as well as you. And to think this is a New York state agency. No man has the right to do what you have done. I’m so sorry for these women, my heart goes out to you all. And now you work with young people. What in God’s name are you teaching them?
My late husband worked for Unity House with a nice young man. He got to know his family and got to know the young man and his family. When the young man passed away he was very upset. He also worked at the E. John Gravas Center again and had respect for the men and women he worked with and the consumers.
If you were a true Marine you would not have done this. My late husband was a Marine. Do you know what they stand for? Let me tell you; honor, commitment, and courage which you have none of the above. My husband was in the Marine Corps for 25 years and retired a master gunnery sergeant. He had respect for people, he had honor; a true gentleman. This may be locker room behavior but you aren’t in a locker room. Do not bring the Marine Corps into this. You are a disgrace to all Marines and every branch of our military. I hope these women send you to prison as people like you should not walk alongside people with respect and honor.
