It's a sad day in America when a county clerk's position is threatened over her opinion by a political party. Susan Dwyer has been an excellent county clerk with her innovative and "how can I make it better attitude" during her tenure. One just has to visit the DMV to see an example of her work. She should be rewarded, not threatened. This is the United States of America, isn't it? Aren't we entitled to our opinions?

She just said that she didn't think it would be a good idea to issue driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants. Nowhere did I read that she would refuse to issue them. Is that not an opinion? Our freedoms are in jeopardy due to the attack on the Constitution by a political party trying to manipulate it to further their agenda. Article VI Clause 3 of the United States Constitution requires that all who hold office in the United States take an oath to uphold the United States Constitution, which by the way includes state senators. If I were Sue I would take the matter to court because it sounds like her rights are being infringed upon.
