Auburn native Tim Locastro achieved another major league milestone in the Arizona Diamondbacks' win over the San Diego Padres Sunday.

Locastro, who served as Arizona's leadoff hitter, went 2-for-4 with a run scored. It's the first multi-hit game of his major league career.

In his first at-bat of the game, Locastro singled to center. He struck out in his next two at-bats, but bounced back with a single in the seventh inning. He eventually scored when Padres pitcher Matt Wisler committed a balk.

The Diamondbacks won 8-4.

Locastro has three hits in seven at-bats since being called up by the Diamondbacks last week. He made his first start with the Diamondbacks in Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers. He went 1-for-2 at the plate and was hit by a pitch.

Since his promotion, Locastro has played in six games with the Diamondbacks. He has two starts. In the four other games, he's appeared as a pinch-hitter or pinch-runner.
