Tim Locastro was named a Texas League All-Star on Wednesday.

The Auburn native was one of nine members of the Tulsa Drillers, the class AA affiliated of the Los Angeles Dodgers, chosen to compete for the North Division on June 27 in Frisco.

Locastro, who has played second base, shortstop and centerfield, has a .275 batting average, 15 doubles, 15 RBIs and 43 runs in 59 games. The Ithaca College product leads the Drillers with 12 stolen bases.

This isn't the first time Locastro has received all-star honors.

Locastro, originally drafted by Toronto in the 13th round in 2013 and traded to the Dodgers organization in 2015, was a Northwest League midseason all-star in 2014. He was also an MiLB.com organizational all-star for the Blue Jays in 2014 and for Los Angeles in 2016.
