The Maroons had four players finish in double figures, as the Auburn boys basketball team topped Jamesville-DeWitt 94-60 Tuesday night.
Kaleb Cook led the way with 31 points. Jay Baranick added 16 points, and Shaheed Beal chipped in 15 points and 10 steals.
Troy Churney had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Nick Dec finished with three three-pointers for nine points.
For Maroons coach Jim Marsh, the big win came down to his team's defensive performance.
"The kids played unbelievable defense and shut down some of their main scorers," Marsh said.
Auburn wraps up the regular season at East Syracuse-Minoa Friday.
Union Springs 64, Southern Cayuga 44: Jose Reyes scored a team-high 24 points for the Wolves.
Zach Nickerson recorded 15 points and four steals, and Ryan Bailey had 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Union Springs (11-7) travels to Watkins Glen on Friday.
Moravia 68, Groton 38: Kaden Hooper tallied 18 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Blue Devils.
Josh Cespedes added 13 points, while Scottie Sovocool chipped in 11 points and five assists. Justin Pettit had nine points, and Gavin Genson finished with six points and 10 rebounds.
Moravia (15-2) takes on Spencer-Van Etten on Friday,
Port Byron 58, Fabius-Pompey 28: Brianna DeBois and Shelby Weatherwax each netted 13 points for the Panthers, while Keyara Allen finished with 11 points.
Jordyn Baker tallied seven points and Skyler White had six points.
Port Byron hits the road to take on Union Springs Friday.
Clinton 2, Auburn 1: The Maroons' Johnny Malandruccolo tied the score in the third period, but the Warriors scored the game-winner with seven minutes left in regulation.
Aaron Kowal made 47 saves in net.
Auburn travels to New Hartford Friday.
