The Union Springs/Port Byron boys and girls bowling teams both earned sweeps over Candor Wednesday at Starlite Lanes.
Matthew Ward had the high score of 607 (222) for the Wolves, followed by Mitchell Hamel's 594 (244), Michael Jesmer's 590 (226), and Thomas Radley's 493.
Leading the girls was Keri Jesmer's 570 (200). After Jesmer was Alexis Colbert's 528 (202), Colleen Jump and Makayla Smith each with a 525, Jada Kimball's 448 and Cassie Barker's score of 401.
The girls are now a perfect 16-0 in matches this year while the boys are 15-1. US/PB travels to Watkins Glen Thursday.
Skaneateles (girls) 6, Oswego 0: Meg Teachout (two goals) and Rachelle Cain (goal, assist) both posted multi-point games for the Lakers. Ioanna Christou, Sophia Burns and Rebecca Cain also scored, while Campbell Torrey and Adriana Barbuto picked up one assist each.
Evie Sheridan earned the shutout with 19 saves.
Skaneateles 4, Cortland-Homer 4: Colin Weeks scored twice for the Lakers, while Cole Heintz and Luke Lynn also found the back of the net. Owen Van Holtz and Bauer Morrissey were credited with two assists apiece, while Thomas Coyne, Ryan Gick and Charlie Russell each had one assist. Chris Falso made 24 saves between the pipes.
Weedsport 50, Pulaski/Sandy Creek 40: Joe Wloch won the 200 freestyle (2:06.15), David Sterling was first in the 50 freestyle (25.86), Will Sterling touched first in the 100 freestyle (59.73), Allison House won the 500 freestyle (5:47.23), and Alison Jorolemon was first in the 100 breaststroke (1:25.75).
House, A Jorolemon, David Sterling and Andy Sayles took the 200 medley relay (2:03.89). Caleb Tracey, Wloch, Sayles and David Sterling were first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:48.28).
