Ruthless Aggression youth wrestlers competed at a pair of NY Top 100 tournaments after the weekend.
At Watertown, Mason Tanner, Elijah Berry and Alex Lamson all earned first place, while Jack Lamson came in third and Benny Lamson was fourth.
At Canisteo, Bradley Boyhan, Brady Maneri and Bryce Monahan took first place, while Lucas Maneri won both the 7-8 age division and 9-10 age division. Mikey Boyhan and Cameron Monahan both took second place. Lucas Maneri and Bryce Monahan were both named most outstanding wrestlers.
Auburn 3, Canandaigua 2; Skaneateles 4, Auburn 3: The Boyle and Anderson Bantams split the weekend.
Against Canandaigua, Ethan Moore scored twice and Matt Donovan scored the other in the win. Charlie Cunningham added an assist. Mason Jones recorded 21 saves.
In the loss to Skaneateles, Jack Pineau, Nico Tardibone (assist) and Moore (assist) all scored, with Jones picking up 19 saves.
Skaneateles 7, Auburn 0; Ithaca 10, Auburn 1: Paige Smith registered 31 saves in a loss to Skaneateles on Saturday, and made 29 stops against Ithaca on Sunday. Evan Moore scored the lone goal unassisted for the Simmonds, Brady & Loi Ice Hawks.
Skaneateles 4, Auburn 2: Max Laraway and Judah Young (assist) were scorers for the Savannah Bank Ice Hawks, while Luke Siracusa made 10 saves.
Auburn 7, Fulton 4: Laraway and TJ Pisciotti both recorded a pair of goals, while Matthew Hoey, Young and Makenna Komanecky also scored. Teagan Wilbur, Kyleen Brady and Anderson Pineau were all credited with a pair of assists. Siracusa posted 12 saves.
Skaneateles 4, Auburn 1: Siracusa scored the only goal for Auburn, and Pisciotti made 18 saves between the pipes.
Clinton 11, Auburn 2: Completing the four-game weekend, Laraway posted a goal and an assist, with Siracusa chipping in a goal. Pisciotti was credited with 29 saves.
